My years of experience as a business owner and in real estate sales, has afforded me strong negotiation skills, ensuring my clients get the best deal possible. Before going into Real Estate, I was co-owner of a successful soils engineering firm in Carlsbad for ten years. Experience gained from this pursuit enhances my knowledge of the multitude of factors that need to be considered when buying and selling real estate property.
I began my real estate career over two decades ago as a residential appraiser. I soon realized my passion was to help people through the very complex buying and selling process of their homes. I knew the only way I could offer my clients the top notch, quality service I believe they deserved, was through further and continued education. Within my first year in sales, I earned the designation GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute). In 2002, I earned my At Home With Diversity:One America Certificate. This certificate is awarded to members of the National Association of Realtors who meet eligibility requirements to work with the growing numbers of multicultural and minority buyers and sellers.
I earned the prestigious CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 2004. Only 4% of REALTORS are CRS. The CRS designation is the highest credential awarded to sales agents in residential real estate, and reflects my commitment to better serving my clients. In 2009, I earned the SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Certificate), and the SRES (Senior real estate specialist) designations. The knowledge I learned in the SFR course has proved to be of great value to help the many families that have been hit with financial hardshipand are faced with losing their homes through short sale or foreclosure. The knowledge I learned in the SRES course is necessary to help seniors make the right choice when buying or selling their homes after the age of 55.
I believe the only way to make informed decisions is through continued education. My clients can be assured they are working with a knowledgeable professional that has earned the respect of my past clients as well as my colleagues. I continue to be in the top 5% of agents nationwide, and Platinum Club award winner.
